DU Admissions 2024:The University of Delhi will today begin the admissions for undergraduate programmes for spot round 1 for 72,263 seats. The last date to register is September 19 (11.59 pm). Aspirants can register online at admission.uod.ac.in. As per the official notification, Delhi University has confirmed72,263admissions till September 15, 2024. Students who will complete the the spot round registration before the deadline will be able to check the seat allocation result on Septmber 21, 2024. Further the selected students will have to accept the allotted seat betweenSeptember 21 to 22, 2024.

DU VCIS Eligibility Criteria
Bonafide regular students of the University of Delhi who are enrolled in any course or stream at the undergraduate or postgraduate level from the second year or higher are eligible for the Delhi University Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (DU VCIS).
Students must know that the VCIS can be availed by the students only once during their course of study at Delhi University. The department dean of students welfare will issue an internship certificate to the students who complete the internship. the satisfactory appraisal report would be considered for issuing certificates.

Further a total of 1,061 ECA allocations along with 1,648 sports allocations and 132 performance-based allocations have been made during the Delhi University UG admission process for the third round.
DU Spot Round-1 Admissions: Who Are Eligible?
Candidates who registered for the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 but are not admitted to any college till September 17 can apply for this round. As per the official notification candidates who want to participate in this round must opt for ‘Spot Admission’ through their dashboard.
To be considered for spot admission a candidate must opt for ‘Spot Admission’ through his/her dashboard. The candidate can select only those Program + College combinations where the seats are vacant as per the category, the university said. DU added that it will be mandatory for a candidate to take admission to the allotted seat in the spot round 1. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the spot admission round will forfeit the candidate eligibility for admission and s/he will be out of the admission process.

Candidates who have applied for CSAS UG 2024 but have not received any college can participate in the DU spot round counselling process 2024. The candidate profile shall be kept in freeze mode and no candidate will be allowed to withdraw their admission after September 17, 2024. To be considered in a DU UG spot admission round 2024, the candidate will have to specifically opt for ‘Spot Admission’ through his/her dashboard. Further a student will be able to select a Program + College combination where the vacant seats are available as per the Category.
DU UG Spot Round Admission 2024: Seat Allocation
After the seat is allotted on September 21 candidates must accept the offer before 11.59 pm on September 22. They must pay the seat acceptance fee before 4.59 pm on September 24.Click here for official notice.

There are a total of 72,263 vacant seats in various colleges and courses. Candidates must note that they can select only those programme-college combinations where seats are vacant for their category. Candidates must accept the seat allocated in a spot round failing which their eligibility for DU admissions will be cancelled.
Important Deadlines September 24
The last day to pay the online acceptance fee is 4:59 pm. Once a seat is allotted in the spot round there is no option for an upgrade or withdrawal. As per the official notice. It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a Spot round. Failure to accept the allocated seat will forfeit the candidate eligibility for admission to UoD and they will be out of CSAS(UG)-2024.
