UCEED Application Form 2025
- The application form for UCEED 2025 will open tentatively in the 1st week of October 2024.
- The direct link to fill out the form will be provided here.
- Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the B.Des program may apply before the last date.
- Note that the candidate has the option to apply for UCEED 2025 with both regular and late fees.
- The late application fee is INR 500.
Use only genuine and verifiable information for filling out the form. This is because exam officials will verify all the details at the time of counseling and seat allotment. If any anomaly is found the candidate may be disqualified.
How to fill out the UCEED 2025 application form
To get registered, follow the steps listed below.
- Pay the application fee– The fee has to be paid in online mode. The application fee for the OPEN category is INR 3,800 and INR 1,900 for reserved category candidates.
- Online registration– Click on the registration link. You will be redirected to a registration form. Fill in details like a valid email ID and mobile number. On successful registration an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form– The application form will have sections like personal, academic and contact details Fill in all the sections. You will also be required to selectTHREE exam citiesin the order of priority.
- Upload documents– The candidate has to upload documents like a photograph, signature date of birth proof and qualifying exam certificates in the prescribed format.
UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidate needs to meet the following conditions for admission to the B.Des program offered by the UCEED 2025 participating institutes.

UCEED Syllabus 2025
IIT Bombay revised the UCEED syllabus in the previous edition of the entrance exam.
Here are the key points about the UCEED syllabus 2025:
- The UCEED 2025 question paper has two parts – Part A and Part B
- Part A will be administered through a computer-based test and will consist of three sections (NAT, MSQ and MCQ).
- Part B will now have TWO questions: one on Drawing and the other on Design aptitude. The question in Part B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answer has to be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator only.
- The duration for A will be 120 minutes while Part B will be 60 min.
Part A will have questions on the following topics:
- Visualization and spatial reasoning: Ability to visualize and transform 2D shapes and 3D objects and their spatial relationships.
- Practical and scientific knowledge: Know-how of scientific principles and everyday objects.
- Observation and design sensitivity: The capacity to detect concealed properties in daily life and think critically about them. Attention to detail, classification, analysis, inference and prediction.
- Environment and society: General awareness of environmental, social and cultural connections with design.
- Analytical and logical reasoning: Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
- Language: Proficiency in reading and comprehending Standard English.
- Creativity: Grasp of verbal and non-verbal analogies, metaphors, signs and symbols.
Part B will have questions on the following topics:
- Drawing: Ability to draw products, people or scenes in proportion with good line quality, composition, proportion, perspective and shading.
- Design aptitude: Capability to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.
UCEED Admit Card 2025
Admit cards for UCEED 2025 will be released tentatively in the 1st week of January 2025.
- The admit card will be issued to all candidates who duly complete the application process. The candidate has to download the admit card from the UCEED – IIT Bombay admission portal.
- The admit card will contain details like the date and time of the UCEED 2025 exam, the name and address of the exam center, exam timings including reporting time and exam-day guidelines.
- On the day of the exam candidates had to bring with them a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card.

- If the admit card is released a download link will be activated
- Click on the UCEED 2025 admit card download link
- A login window will OPEN
- Enter your email ID and password
- On login the admit card will be displayed in downloadable PDF format
- Download and take a printout of the admit card.
UCEED Cut-off
- IIT Bombay released cutoff marks for Part A on February 8, 2024. The cut-offs were released in the form of mean and standard deviations.
- The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2024) are 43.91 and 23.03, respectively.
- Part B answer booklets were evaluated only if the candidate meets the cut-off marks for Part A. Also all candidates who met the cut-off were shortlisted.

- Shortlisting of candidates: All candidates who met the cut-off were shortlisted.

- Ranking: ALL candidates who get shortlisted were allocated a rank
- Part B paper of candidates who failed to get shortlisted was not evaluated and they weren’t assigned any ranks
- IIT Bombay does not share the evaluated papers of Part B
- The evaluation of Part B is done manually.
Release of UCEED 2024 admission cut-off
IIT Bombay released the category-wise cut-off marks for admission to the B.Des program for Round I on April 10, 2024. Candidates who meet the cut-off rank in their category are eligible for admission to the B.Des program for Round I.
UCEED Exam Pattern 2025
The UCEED exam is divided into two parts – A and B.
As per the official exam pattern of UCEED 2025, Part B will include TWO questions one on Drawing and the other on Design aptitude. The duration of Paper B will be 60 minutes. The question in Part B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answer has to be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator only.
Further, Part B will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A.
