The results of CSIR-UGC-NET June 2024 will be declared by 15th October 2024 as Human Resource Development Group or HRDG. a division of CSIR which run various schemes of fellowship, research grants, awards and conduct CSIR NET exam. Almost 9 lakh students are waiting for the announcement of the UGC-NET 2024 exam. The results used to come out a month after the exam took place the June session results are yet to be announced, causing anxiety and stress among students and teachers.

The agency had earlier released provisional answer keys for the exam. Candidates who weren’t pleased with the key had till September 13, 2024 to raise challenges against any answer in the key. For raising challenges against one answer applicants needed to pay a processing fee of Rs 200 per question as non-refundable charges against one answer.

The verification of the challenges made by the candidates will be done by a panel of experts in that particular subject. If any of the challenge by the candidate are found correct, then the experts would revise the response of all the candidates accordingly to fit into the revised final answer key. The results will be prepared and declared as per the above revision. The UGC NET is intended to test the eligibility of a candidate to conduct an assistant professor career and for junior research fellowship and assistant professor in institutions across universities and colleges in India. NTA conducts the CBT examination.

To register online, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of the exam –csirnet.nta.ac.in
  • Click on the link available for filling out the application form
  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ button
  • Download the CSIR NET information brochure and read the instructions on the page carefully
  • Click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Click Here to Proceed’ button. On clicking the button theCSIR NET Registration Formwill open on the screen

CSIR NET Educational Qualification 2024

  • Candidates should have obtained a degree in BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/BS (four years)/Integrated BS-MS/MSc with a minimum of 55 per cent marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC (50 per cent for SC/ST, Third gender and PwD)

CSIR NET Age Limit 2024

  • To apply for CSIR NET JRF, candidates should be a maximum of 28 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable for up to 5 years for SC/ST/Third gender/PwD/Females and up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for the post of Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor
