A total of 1487 Nursing Officer posts are to be filled through the recruitment drive Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 7. You can download the hall ticket after following the steps given below.
Step 1 : Visit the official website of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi-https://aiimsexams.ac.in/
Step 2: Click on the link NORCET 7 Admit Card 2024 on the home page.
Step 3: Provide your login credentials to the link on the home page.
Step 4: Candidates will get the required admit card in a new window.
Step 5: Download and save it for future reference.
NORCET Preliminary Exam Overview
According to the selection process released earlier, the NORCET examination will be conducted in two successive stages as described below – Stage I NORCET Preliminary followed by Stage II NORCET Main round. Candidates should note that the NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination where a candidate who qualifies in the test will be allowed to appear in Stage II round.
The duration of the preliminary examination will be 90 minutes. There will be 100 MCQs of 100 marks with four alternatives for each question.
- General Knowledge & Aptitude-20 MCQs
- Nursing courses-80 MCQs
There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer. Question paper will be divided in 5 sections each of 18 minutes duration, where each section will contain 20 question.
Examination will be submitted automatically. Each section will appear one by one during the 90 minutes duration at one time only.
NORCET Qualifying marks
Organistion has fixed the qualifying marks in the Stage I NORCET Preliminary Examination for different categories. Relaxation will be given irrespective of the category. Accordingly, qualifying marks for PWBD will be as follows UR/EWS-PWBD-45 percentile, OBC-PWBD-40 percentile and SC/ST-PWBD-35 percentile). Document to Carry With NORCET 7 Admit Card 2024 ?
Candidates who have to appear in the written exam for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 7 should note that they will have to download the admit card and take the same at the exam venue. You are advised to carry the exam admit card with additional documents including id proof including PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License and other as mentioned in the notification.
Stage I: NORCET Preliminary Exam
The exam will consist of 100 MCQs for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates who qualify in this exam will be eligible to take the Stage II exam.
Stage II: NORCET Main Exam
The exam will consist of 160 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 160 marks, with four alternatives for each question. The duration of the examination will be 180 minutes.

The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering various subjects, including General Knowledge & Aptitude and Nursing Syllabus. The exam pattern for NORCET 7 is as follows:
- Total Number of Questions: 100 (20 questions on General Knowledge & Aptitude and 80 questions on Nursing topics)
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Exam Duration: 90 Minutes
- Each correct answer will carry 1 mark
- Negative marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
- The question paper is divided into 5 sections, each with 20 questions and a duration of 18 minutes.
- Sections will be activated sequentially. Once a section time expires, the exam will automatically move to the next section.
- Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 50 percentile, OBC – 45 percentile, SC/ST – 40 percentile, PwBD candidates receive an additional 5 percentile relaxation.
