Anirudh Ravichander gets trolled :
When it was music director Anirudh’s turn to speak, he shared that Jr NTR, affectionately known as Tarak is his best friend in Hyderabad and that he considers the Telugu star like an elder brother.
However, numerous netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize his performance, noting the complete lack of audience reaction.
Some users harshly pointed out that it was not a concert and that he shouldn’t expect the media to sing along with him. One user commented, This is a press meet, not a concert to make a chorus for the song.
Another user wrote in Tamil “ஒரே அசிங்கமா போச்சு குமார். மூமெண்ட்” (What an embarrassing moment) accompanied by a laughing emoji.
Similarly, another user remarked, “Ennna pa sensational ha posukunu asinga paduthitaa” (They called him sensational but he sang so badly), also adding a laughing emoji. Some expressed sympathy for Anirudh, saying they felt sorry for him in light of the negative feedback.
Amidst the wave of critical comments there were those who suggested that the videos circulating on X may have been edited to give the false impression that the media was unresponsive.
This sparked a discussion about how footage can be manipulated to alter perceptions of live events. Overall the mixed reactions underscored the challenges public figures face in live performances and the power of social media in shaping public opinion.
