FMGE December 2024: It is mandatory for the candidates to have the eligibility certificate issued by the NMC to apply for FMGE 2024. The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is tentatively scheduled for December 2024, as announced by the National Medical Commission (NMC). To be eligible to register for the FMGE 2024, candidates must first obtain an eligibility certificate from the NMC.
Candidates can apply for this certificate through the NMC website at nmc.org.in. The online application process for the eligibility certificate, which began on September 5, will remain open until November 4 at 6 pm.
The NMC has emphasized that this will be the final opportunity to apply for the eligibility certificate, and no further applications will be accepted after this deadline. Additionally, the NMC will issue a separate advisory concerning this process, which will be available on their website. Candidates who have previously submitted an application for the eligibility certificate need not apply again.
The applicants can make enquiries about status of the eligibility application at – eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in and While making such enquiries, all the candidates will have to provide their file tracking umber, which was generated while submitting the application to NMC for issuance of eligibility certificate.

FMGE 2024 December Session: Important Guidelines to Obtain Eligibility Certificate
Students must adhere to the following guidelines to obtain the FMGE 2024 eligibility certificate:
- The authorities will reject the incomplete applications and will not process them once the application process concludes.
- The authorities are unlikely to extend the FMGE 2024 eligibility certificate last date.
- Candidates are suggested to submit the application after doing due diligence and checking the requirements before submitting the form.

FMGE 2024: Scheme of the Examination
Here is all you need to know about the FMGE 2024 exam:
- The examination will be conducted in an online mode
- The medium of the examination will be English
- Candidates will be evaluated based on 300 multiple-choice questions
- All the questions in the FMGE question paper will have equal weightage
- One mark would be awarded for every correct answer
- No marks will be awarded/ deducted for incorrect answers
- The examination will be conducted in two phases – Part A and Part B
- The candidate will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes to attempt each section
- According to the exam pattern of FMGE 2024, a candidate needs to score at least 50% marks in the examination to qualify it
FMGE 2024 Exam Pattern: Subject-wise Distribution of Marks
As mentioned earlier, the FMGE exam pattern 2024 suggests that the examination will be conducted in two sessions. The question paper for both these sections will comprise different subjects. The first section of the FMGE 2023 exam will comprise questions on pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects. The distribution of marks for each of these subjects is given in the table below.

- Under the links sections, click on “New Registration”
- Read the instructions carefully and select “Close”

- Step 1: Go to the official website of NBE –natboard.edu.in
- Step 2: Click on “FMGE”
- Step 3: Login using the User ID and password
- Step 4: Click on “Download FMGE 2024 admit card”
- Step 5:Check the admit card of FMGE 2024 for errors
- Step 6:Download and save the admit card
Students are advised to print at least 2 copies of the FMGE admit card 2024.
