Kartik Aaryan (born 22 November 1990) is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi cinema. While studying engineering, he made his acting debut in Luv Ranjan’s buddy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011).
Following this he appeared in the romantic films Akaash Vani (2013) and Kaanchi (2014) but these roles did not significantly advance his career.
Aaryan experienced commercial success with Ranjan’s comedies Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) with the latter marking his breakthrough role.
His prominence continued to grow with roles in the romantic comedies Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh (both 2019) as well as the comedy horror film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) which became his highest-grossing film and earned him a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actor.
He also showcased his versatility in thrillers such as Dhamaka (2021) and Freddy (2022) as well as the romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023). His portrayal of Murlikant Petkar in the biopic Chandu Champion (2024) was particularly well-received.

Renowned as one of the leading figures in Hindi film industry Devgn has acted in over 100 movies and received numerous accolades including four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri the country’s fourth-highest civilian award.
Devgn first gained significant attention with his debut film the 1991 action romance Phool Aur Kaante, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
