NEET PG 2024 Counselling Schedule Released, Registrations To Begin Soon

NEET PG 2024 Counselling: The registrations for the NEET PG Counselling will begin on September 20 and conclude on September 26. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is soon expected to announce the schedule for counselling process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024. Candidates who have qualified the postgraduate medical entrance exam will be able to check the schedule on the official website of the MCC.

As per FAIMA, the registrations for the NEET PG Counselling will begin on September 20 and conclude on September 26. The choice filling window will be available from September 23 till 26 and choice locking will begin from 4 pm of September 26 till 11:55 pm of the same day. Processing of seat allotment will be held between September 27 to 29. The result of first seat allotment list will release on September 30. Candidates selected on the basis of first list will be required to report between October 1 and 8.

The reports further mention that the registrations for round 2 will begin on October 14 and conclude on October 21. The result for second round of the counselling process will be released on October 24. Selected candidates will be required to report to the designated spot between October 25 and November 2.

The registrations for Round 3 will be conducted from November 7 and 12 and the result will be released on November 16. Registrations for the stray vacay round will be done between November 28 and December 2 and the results will be declared on December 5.

The medical body will soon upload the counselling schedule at the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.

Those who qualify NEET PG 2024, securing the minimum cut off percentile are eligible to participate in the counselling process. NEET PG counselling is conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota seats and 100% deemed/central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats. A total of four rounds of NEET PG counselling 2024 will be conducted by MCC for the above-mentioned seats. The respective State authorities will conduct counselling for the remaining 50% AIQ seats. The counselling process starts with online registrations and ends with candidates reporting to the allotted institute with all the documents.

The counselling of NEET PG is conducted for admission to the following quotas:

• 50% All India Quota seats
• 50% State Quota seats
• Armed Forces Medical Services
• Deemed Universities
• Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU)
• ESIC colleges

Step 1: Registration

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling for NEET PG 2024 have to register on the official website of MCC. New registrations are accepted before each round. The candidates who have the registered once for NEET PG counselling 2024 do not need to register for the second time.

• Login again to fill the application form
• Enter personal/academic details

Step 2: Registration fee

• To participate in the counselling of NEET PG 2024, a candidate needs to pay the registration fee
• The registration fee for NEET PG 2024 counselling has to be paid online (Net banking/credit card/debit card)
• There are two components of the registration fee, refundable and non-refundable

• Valid, non-expired and authentic photo ID proof (PAN card/Driving licence/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar card)
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Candidates must note that it is mandatory for them to be present physically for verification of documents and confirmation of the allocated seat. If they fail to report to the allocated institute, their candidature will be forfeited.

• A list will open on your screen
• Scroll through the list and find your roll number
• To save time, press Ctrl+F and type your roll number
