NEET PG 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS is scheduled to release National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, NEET PG 2024 scorecard tomorrow, August 30. NEET PG result was released on August 23 and NBE in a notification informed that individual scorecards will be released on or after August 30. Candidates who appeared in NEET PG exam will be able to check scorecards fromnbe.edu.in

Notice on official website reads, individual scorecard of the candidates who appeared in NEET-PG 2024 can be downloaded from the website. after 30th August, 2024.”

NEET PG Scorecard 2024: Steps to Check and Download

  • Visit the official website, nbe.edu.in, or natboard.edu
  • Click on the notification link that reads, ‘NEET PG 2024 scorecard’ flashing on homepage
  • It will redirect you to the login window where you need to provide login credentials
  • NEET PG 2024 scorecard will appear on the screen
  • Download NEET PG 2024 scorecard and save it for future reference

NEET PG 2024 Counselling

NEET aspirants are waiting for the counselling schedule. Medical Counselling Committee, MCC will conduct counselling for 50% of AIQ seats for government, private, and government-aided colleges. NEET PG Couselling schedule is expected to be released next week on nbe.edu.in. This year three rounds of counselling are expected for NEET PG admissions. It will then be followed by online stray vacancy and mop-up round.

Reservation Policy of AIQ for State Institutes/University along with the Central contributed seats comprises of S.C.- 15%, S.T.- 7.5% and O.B.C.- (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list- 27%. Candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the NEET-PG 2024 Information Bulletin and verification of their Face ID/Biometric wherever required. NEET PG Result: The Types

NBE releases two types of NEET PG result for providing admission to PG courses at medical colleges across the country. The medical colleges use scores of NEET PG for allocating different categories of seats to candidates. The two types of results of NEET PG have been explained below:

NEET PG result for 50% AIQ seats

This category of NEET PG results is for admission to 50 % All India Quota Seats. NBE releases the result in PDF format. The counselling for these seats is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. Admission to these seats is provided on the basis of AIQ rank, marks obtained, choices filled, reservation criteria, and availability of seats. The cut off for admission to AIQ 50% seats is the same as the minimum qualifying percentile.

NEET PG result for State quota seats

This type of result is for admission to State quota seats. The respective State authorities conduct counselling for admission to the PG courses in the state quota category. No state is allowed to conduct any other exam for allocating MD/MS/PG diploma seats.

How Marks Calculated for NEET PG Result

NEET PG result will be prepared on the basis of the marking scheme. NEET PG question paper comprises 200 questions of 800 marks in the exam.

NEET PG Scorecard: Qualifying Percentile

Qualifying cut off vary as per the category. Candidates of unreserved category have to score little more than their counterparts of reserved category to qualify for NEET PG exam. Check the categories qualifying cut off in the table given below:

NEET PG Cut off 2024: Tie-Breaker

In case of two students secure the same score in the NEET PG merit list 2024, then the following tie-breaking criteria will be considered for providing admission:

More number of correct responses: Candidates who have a greater number of correct responses in the question paper will be placed at a better merit position.

Less number of incorrect responses: Those with a lesser number of negative responses in the question paper will be placed at a higher rank in NEET PG 2024 merit list.

Age:The candidate who will be older than his/her counterpart will be preferred in case of the tie.

Higher aggregate marks:In case of the tie, the candidate who had secured higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS Professional Examinations will be preferred.

NEET PG Seats Allocation Process

On the basis of the NEET PG cut off score, NBE releases merit list for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) candidates. The merit list mentions the names of those candidates who are called for the NEET PG counselling round. Candidates get admission into MD/MS/DNB courses on the basis of counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling for 50% AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes while the respective state counselling authority holds the counselling session for the rest of the 50% seats.

To participate in theNEET PG counselling, candidates have to register on the official website of MCC, pay the registration fee, and fill the choice of course or colleges. Finally, MCC releases the result of NEET PG counselling in the form of a seat allotment list. NEET PG seats are allocated based on the options filled by the candidates and their All India Rank. A Total of four rounds of counseling, first, second, mop-up and stray vacancy round will be conducted by MCC for All India Quota seats.

NEET PG 2024 Merit List

NEET PG 2024 merit list will be released online based on cut off score. NBE will be released the merit list for All India Quota 50 percent seats on the official website, nbe.edu.in in PDF format. Candidates have to download the merit list which comprises candidate’s roll number, category, NEET PG 2024 rank, All India 50% Quota Rank and All India 50% Quota Category rank. Candidates who will be included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling. These candidates will have to register online for NEET PG 2024 seat allocation.
