QS Rankings 2025: The recent QS Global MBA and Business Master Rankings 2025 has shed light on the ever-growing importance of Indian business schools. Three Indian Institutes of Management, IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta and ISB Hyderabad have made it to the list for MBA. And these very IIMs rank high in the top 50 for employment. In total fourteen Indian full-time MBA programs have received their place in QS’ global list for 2025, including three new entries. ISB Hyderabad Among World Top 100 for MBA Course
As many as three Indian Institutes of Management along with the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad have made it to the top 100 in the world for their MBA courses according to rankings by QS. The QS rankings were announced on Wednesday. The three IIMs are IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta. the three B-schools have also featured among the first 50 in the employability ranking. Fourteen Indian full-time MBA programmes have ranked in the QS global list for 2025, including three new entries.

The QS Global MBA and Business Master Rankings 2025 covers 58 countries and territories featuring an analysis of the world 340 top global MBAs and a set of specialized in-demand Business Master Rankings from Master in Management, Finance, Marketing and Business Analytics to Supply Chain Management.

IIM Hyderabad Among World Top 100 for MBA Course
Quacquarelli Symonds a company that specializes in education analytics and is popular for its annual rankings of the institutions overall and in specific fields has come out with top MBA universities rankings. Among the four institutes of the list are from India three Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) and Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad.
India Top MBA Schools IIM Bangalore with a total score of 68.5 is the top MBA school and ranking 48th in the global rankings. Next is IIM Ahmedabad in an overall ranking of 53rd and second in India with a total score of 66.3. IIM Calcutta took the third position at an overall ranking of 59th with a total of 63.3 while ISB Hyderabad is ranked 78th with a total score of 60.1.
The 14 entries from India include seven IIMs – Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Indore, Lucknow, Udaipur and Kozhikode. Other institutes include Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon Xavier School of Management International Management Institute, Delhi and Kolkat and Somaiya Vidyavihar University Mumbai.
IIM Ahmedabad full-time MBA programme leads nationally in the Entrepreneurship and Alumni Impact category IIM Bangalore full-time MBA programme has achieved the highest return on investment in India with and another two programmes appearing among the world top 100. None of the 14 ranked Indian MBA programs appear in the world top 250 by student and faculty diversity-the latter indicator also highlighting the significant gender gap on some campuses.
