Before entering the IPL, I might have trained like this, but this time, I’ve gone beyond. Waking up at 4 am, training, and then bowling—I haven’t put in as many hours as I have this pre-season in the past four or five years.”

Sai Kishore’s determination is evident as he emphasized his readiness for the Test arena. “I feel I am one of the best spinner in the our team. Put me in a Test match, I am ready. I am not worried too much. Jadeja is there, and I have never played alongside him in the red-ball format. It will be a good learning experience, but I feel confident. I am more ready than ever.”

I feel so confident because I’ve never trained as intensely as I have now. Maybe before entering the IPL, I trained like this, but this time, I’ve gone even further. Waking up at 4 a.m., training and then bowling—I haven’t put in this many hours of work in the past four or five years. During the IPL was the focus on more to recovery, but after the TNPL I had a 15-20 day break, and I used it to the fullest,” Sai Kishore shared.

The main reason I’m playing in the Buchi Babu Trophy is to get ready to bowl 50 overs,” Kishore shared. “I wanted to be part of this tournament because I want to play as much cricket as I can. Sometimes, injuries can be a blessing in disguise.


Cricketers often face burnout from playing too much, though that doesn’t happen to me as often. But when an injury occurs, it reignites the passion to play. If I need to bowl 50 overs, I’ll do it happily, with even more interest and fire. This injury has been a blessing, and I’m very eager to get back on the field,” he added enthusiastically.
