While applauding Abhishek Banerjee’s impressive performance in Stree 2, SRK jokingly suggested that Johar renowned for his successful talk show Koffee With Karan, might want to channel his talents back into filmmaking instead of hosting.
He said Bhai main Zoom pe kar lunga main itna jaldi karta hu. Main toh itna hosting karta hu na.’” SRK continued with his playful banter He hosts chat shows he hosts film shows… bhai, you should also make a film.” With a wink, he added, How much hosting will you do ?
He expressed his enthusiasm about hosting the awards alongside Johar despite his absence in previous years due to busy filming schedules. “I would have loved to attend earlier but the IIFA dates often conflicted with my shooting schedule,” he quipped.
He wore a black T-shirt paired with flared pants, white sneakers and a black cap showcasing a shorter hairstyle compared to the longer locks he had previously flaunted at events like Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.
