SSC CHSL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the date for the Tier II exam of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2024 scheduled for November 18, 2024. Recently SSC published the results for Tier I and provided category-wise cut-off marks. A total of 41,465 candidates successfully cleared the Tier I exam and are now eligible for Tier II. This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,712 positions for Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) roles across various government departments. The admit cards for the CHSL Tier II exam are expected to be released in the first week of November although an exact date has yet to be confirmed. SSC CHSL Admit Card 2024: Important Exam Day Guidelines
Some important points that candidates need to keep in mind on the day of the SSC CHSL exam 2024 are:
- It is mandatory for candidates to carry all the aforementioned documents (admit card, ID proof, photographs) to the exam centre on the day of the exam
- Candidates not carrying either of the aforementioned documents might not be allowed to sit for the SSC CHSL exam
- To avoid crowding candidates must reach the allotted exam center before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card
- Candidates must maintain a distance of at least six feet from other candidates
- Exam hall number/lab number in which candidates will be seated will be informed to them at the entry gate and will not be displayed outside the centre
- It is mandatory for candidates to wear face masks
- Candidates are allowed to carry a small bottle of hand sanitiser and a transparent water bottle
- Candidates are allowed to wear gloves inside the test centre
- Candidates must sanitise their hands after filling the SSC copy of admit card and attendance sheet
- At the entry gate of the test center body temperature of candidates will be checked through thermal guns. Candidates with high body temperature will not be allowed to sit for the exam
- Ball point pens and blank sheets will be provided to candidates inside the exam hall for rough work

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Pattern: Highlights
- SSC CHSL Tier 2 is conducted in two sessions- Session I and Session II on the same day.
- SSC CHSL Session I includes Section I, Section II and Module I of Section III. Session II includes Module II of Session III.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections of Tier II.
- Tier 2 consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions, except for Module II of Section III.
- The questions are set in English and Hindi except for Module II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II.
- There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II and Module-I of Section III.
- Module I of Section III is the Computer Knowledge Test which is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
- Module II of Section III , Skill Test/ Typing Test is of qualifying nature.
- Errors in the Skill Test will be calculated up to 2 decimal places.
