Thalapathy 69 would be his last silver screen venture and its producers are teasing that he would essay the role of “torch bearer of democracy” in this project.
It is not just another release under the banner of the auspicious career of Vijay, but it is a milestone one since this marks the beginning of new challenges of political voyages for him.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Final Film A Remake Of Bhagavanth Kesari? What We Know
Still under the spell of The Greatest of All Time (The Goat), which has garnered more than ₹400 crore at the box office since its release on September 5, fans still cannot get enough of the actor.
Directorial-mentality: Vijay’s performance in Vijay’s recent film has been lauded and has thus raised expectations for his next film. Tamizhan Endan date not available.
Directed by H Vinoth, in association with KVN Productions, Thalapathy 69, said to be a probable last film of Vijay, is gaining momentum for star as well as the creative team. This film will have music composed by talented musician Anirudh Ravichander.
The cast of this film will include Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Prakash Raj besides Vijay. There are reports which state that Malayalam actress Mamta Baiju will be a part of the film; she will play the role of Vijay’s sister, thereby adding more flavor to the ensemble.
Recent speculations had revolved around the plot of Thalapathy 69, rumors stating that it would be a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari, featuring the hero Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead.
This Telugu film had run as a great grosser, leaving positive remarks not only for its commercial factors but also for bringing out a powerful social message specially related to ‘good touch and bad touch.’
It is a critically sensitive and informative matter that dwelled upon some questions regarding parenting and bringing up daughters and hence is thought-provoking.
As the safest of options if his original one is a hit and highly in demand, this message- driven film may be the choice Vijay has to settle with, sources suggest.
As of now, there’s no affirmation on the remake status and details about the Thalapathy 69 plot and people look forward for more.
