Candidates interested in attempting the official XAT mock test, must register for XAT 2025 before 11:50 pm today. Here how to fill theXAT 2025 application form:

XAT Exam Dates and Important Events 2025
XAT Registration 2025: The registration process for the XAT exam is entirely online. Candidates must register on the official XAT website by creating a login ID completing the application form and paying the required fees. The registration period will remain open until November 30, 2024.
XAT Mock Test 2025: XLRI will host the official XAT mock test on September 25, 2024. This mock test is designed to help candidates familiarize themselves with the exam format and updated pattern. Interested candidates must register for the mock test by September 22, 2024.
XAT Admit Card 2025: The admit card for XAT 2025 will be available online. Registered candidates need to download their admit cards using their login IDs. It is essential to bring a printed copy of the admit card on exam day as digital versions will not be accepted No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination venue without the physical admit card.
XAT Exam 2025: The XAT exam will take place in online mode at designated centers. This year the exam pattern has been updated. it will last for 180 minutes and will not include an essay writing section. The question paper will consist of 95 questions covering Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge and Decision Making. Additionally Analytical Essay Writing has been added to the selection process.
XAT Response Sheet and Answer Key 2025: A few days after the exam XLRI will release the candidate response sheets and the official answer key for XAT 2025. Candidates can download these documents through their login. If candidates find any discrepancies in the answer key they may raise objections which will be reviewed for validity. Any justified objections will lead to revisions in the preliminary answer key.
XAT Result 2025: The results for XAT 2025 will be announced by the third week of January 2025. Candidates can download their results using their login IDs. The scorecards will remain available for download until December 31, 2025.

XAT Mock Test Marking Scheme
- Marks awarded for every correct answer in XAT mock test is +1.
- Negative marks awarded for every incorrect answer is -0.25.
- Negative marks awarded for every unattempt question after eight consecutive unattempt questions is -0.10.
- There is no negative marking in General Knowledge section.
- The countdown timer on the computer screen will display the time remaining.
- On completion of 175 minutes Part 1 will be locked and the screen will move to Part 2.
